NLCA welcomes everyone who works in or provides support to beauty industry, from licensed beauty professionals to employees, independent contractors, and students.  Members of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, will enjoy the outstanding professional development resources offered by NLCA which will help them to grow and thrive in their career.

The unlicensed professional membership is reserved for salon, spa, and school staff that provide support to licensed professionals, rather than directly to the client.

Licensed or Unlicensed Professional:      1 year $115
2 year $215
3 year $300

Student and Newcomer:                     1 year $75
(Must be a current student or have less than one year of professional experience)

Corporate Memberships Create Profile

NLCA Corporate Memberships are geared towards corporations, salons, spas, schools, corporate educators, and corporate associate specialists.

Corporate associate specialty members include professionals who are not a beauty service provider, but support the beauty industry indirectly such as fashion designers, media and publications, public relations practitioners, members of press, and photographers.  Specialty associates may also offer consulting services or support to the professional beauty industry;  at least half of their gross income must be acquired through the provision of these services.

Corporate educator members are for artistic teams supporting the beauty industry.

Dues are based on the company’s gross annual sales.  See the  below for member fees by sales range.  All memberships are valid for one calendar year;  memberships expire 07/01 and must be renewed by 06/30 of each year.  Fees for a two year membership are twice the dues of a one-year membership.

We welcome all beauty professionals from Mexico.  Verification of Salon & Spa contracting or employment will be necessary for NLCA membership.
